It’s simply astonishing how cruelly some people treat animals. Pets have reportedly been rescued from horrific living situations and deplorable conditions.
But happily, there are also kind individuals prepared to act and offer these creatures a second opportunity, giving them the love and attention they merit after experiencing such c.r.u.e.l.ty.
One dog, for instance, is currently healing in caring hands after having all of his teeth pulled by his prior owner.

They gave the dog the name “Toothless” in honor of one of the brave dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon series, despite the fact that it would seem disrespectful. “In the movie, Toothless overcomes many challenges and obstacles, therefore it is so perfect for our guy!” they said.
But Toothless wasn’t yet out of the woods: soon after arriving at the rescue, the puppy was found to have parvo, a highly contagious virus that may cause serious disease in puppies.
“He was promptly brought to a vet and is now receiving medical care,” the Royal Animal Refuge tweeted. “Toothless is asking that you think good thoughts for him,”
Thanks to donations from supporters, the sanctuary was able to pay for Toothless’ medical care, and, according to FOX 5, the dog is now fully recovered.
The future is finally looking bright for this lovely puppy, Toothless, who has endured a lot, including losing his teeth and suffering parvo.
According to a Royal Animal Refuge update, Toothless is now “living his best life” under the care of a “wonderful foster family.”
They published pictures of Toothless in his new house to show that he still has a lovely smile, even with his teeth missing.

The foster family and everyone else that assisted Toothless in their post were thanked by the shelter.
“We want to thank everyone for giving, sharing, and raising awareness for adorable pups like Toothless,” the Royal Animal Refuge wrote in a statement.
It’s heartbreaking to consider what Toothless has been through, but we are happy that he is now safe, well-cared for, and residing in a loving foster home.
