Outside of soccer games, players normally don’t wear cleats. But one adorable stray dog used the unusual shoes to enter the contest.
And his plan was perfect.
On Christmas Eve, during a match between the Bolivian soccer teams The Strongest and Nacional Potosi, a white fluffy dog named Cachito sprinted onto the pitch. The dog attempted to show the athletes a black Adidas cleat by holding it in his mouth.
A campaign was started to find the dog a home, but before they could go very far, Ral Castro, one of the players for The Strongest, decided to give him a home and cover all of his medical costs.
